How to insert JPG to PDF

Perhaps the most versatile method of converting a JPG, or any of the other more common graphics file formats, to a PDF file, is to use the Open Office software suite. With the addition of the Open Office program to your system, you can enjoy a near limitless amount of functionality.

Open office suite is a replacement for Microsoft word and can get free from the website. To convert a JPG image into a PDF file, Download and launch Open Office Draw.

Step1, Pull down the “Insert” drop-down menu from the main menu bar and select “Picture”.

Step2, Select “From File” and navigate to wherever the JPG file is stored on the computer, for example, the desktop.

Step3, Click on the JPG file and now click the “Open” button. At this point, the JPG file will be inserted into the drawing where it can be resized if required.

Step4, To convert this drawing file into a PDF file, pull down the File menu from the main menu bar, and choose “Export as PDF”, where you will be presented with the PDF Options window.

Step5, For most users the default option choices will work fine, but experimentation is always suggested. Now click the “Export” button, navigate to where you want the PDF saved to (for example, the desktop), provide the file with the name of your choice and click the “Save” button. You may now view your JPG image in Adobe Reader.
