How to use PDF documents or forms

PDF, as one of the most popular ebook formats, is featured with its multiplatform and reliablity: capturing or reviewing rich information almost any application or computer system and sharing with anyone, anywhere. It is reported that there are over 250 millions of PDF documents on the web and countless PDF files in government departments and companies all over the world, which strongly demonstrates its popularity.

If you are interested in the PDF content, you can save a permanent copy to your computer click on the‘save a copy’button in the toolbar. Then you can read it during your leisure time.

Sometimes, you may come across interactive PDF forms on the web. You can save the form and fill it in. If necessary, you can also have it printed.

Two ways to search PDF documents:

Searching for a single word or phrase within a PDF document

1. Press Control + F. This will bring back the first instance of the term you have searched for. You can find further instances by clicking on the ‘next’ button.

2.Click on the binoculars icon on the toolbar. This will bring back a list of all instances where the term occurs.

More tips on PDF copying and Pasting:

You can Copy and Paste from a .PDF document if it was created from a file, i.e., Word or Excel.

Select the “T” (for text) icon and then copy and paste as you would in any document.

You cannot Copy and Paste if the document was created from a scanned image.
